BASKETBALL Leagues & tournaments

San Diego Social Leagues & The Salvation Army Kroc Center have a shared vision of serving our community.  We have both noticed the need for engagement within the 18+ adults in the surrounding communities of Rolando, El Cerrito and Oak Park neighborhoods.

As the benefactors of the Labor Day Weekend charity 3 on 3 tournament, the funds raised are earmarked to be used to provide scholarship access to the Kroc Center for individuals from the aforementioned communities.

San Diego Social Leagues proceeds are earmarked for our Light up the Night program in which we will provide temporary lights to parks and fields to allow for longer play into the evening for youth and adult programs. 

Our longer term vision is to raise funds with commercial partners and the City of San Diego to install permanent fixtures that will serve the community’s need for generations to come.  The concomitant community benefits are robust.
