San Diego is famous for its whale-watching opportunities. During the migration seasons, you can set sail to catch a glimpse of magnificent whales breaching the surface. I have whale watched before and it is an incredible sight seeing the whales breach out of the water and even come near the boat. It is a bit intimidating seeing them up close and personal due to their enormous size. I plan on whale-watching later this year.
San Diego hosts a variety of regattas throughout the year, offering both competitive and recreational sailors the chance to participate in thrilling races.
